GrandCentr.al is Studio98's all-in-one business platform — “One Truth” for how a company runs: CRM and deals, proposals, orders, projects, invoicing, subscriptions and commissions, support tickets, email and calendar sync, dashboards, and a built-in LMS. 230 features and counting.
As Software Architect & Lead Developer, I've led the platform across its whole life: the original Laravel monolith serving each customer from its own isolated database, and now a ground-up TypeScript V2 modernization.

The Product
Small businesses drown in disconnected tools — a CRM here, a billing system there, project management somewhere else. GrandCentral replaces the pile with one system: sales pipeline, proposals, orders, project boards, time & materials, invoicing with subscriptions and sales commissions, support ticketing, company training, and a dynamic report builder.
Architecture & Scale
V1 is a Laravel platform with true database-per-tenant isolation — every customer gets their own database with 600+ tables, provisioned automatically. The production system spans 283 domain models, 200+ controllers, and nearly 150 background job types processed through Redis-backed queues, with realtime updates over websockets and OAuth2 + two-factor security.
The integration surface is unusually deep: five payment gateways, QuickBooks accounting sync, Twilio and RingCentral telephony (including a custom-maintained RingCentral SDK fork), full mailbox and calendar sync, and an automation engine that evaluates trigger/action workflows for every tenant every minute.
Leading the V2 Rewrite
I'm currently leading GrandCentral's ground-up modernization: a TypeScript monorepo — Express and PostgreSQL with schema-per-tenant isolation on the backend, React 19 on the front — with dedicated engines for commissions, subscriptions, and campaigns, a central webhook gateway, and a built-in V1-to-V2 data migration path. V2 also expands the product into field-service management: dispatch boards, warehouse and van inventory, and installation workflows.
Beyond the code, this is a team leadership story — the platform has grown through more than 1,800 merged pull requests from a development team I built and run, shipping continuously for years without stopping the businesses that depend on it daily.
